Meet the Doctors
Dr. Lyle Burkhardt D.C.
Owner and Chiropractor
Advanced Certification in Whiplash and Traumatic Brain Injuries • Basic Certification in Chiropractic Biophysics
Dr. Burkhardt grew up in Southeast Ohio and earned his bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University in 2010, majoring in Human Nutrition and Exercise Science. He then attended Life University and graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2014.
Dr. Burkhardt has an advanced certification in Whiplash and Traumatic Brain Injuries from the Spine Institute of San Diego, Chiropractic Biophysics Basic Certification, and Carrick Functional Neurology Management of Concussion Certification (in progress). He has a published case study, is certified in Elastic Therapeutic Taping and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, and is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner. He has worked with NFL Saints players, is proficient in radiology, and is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners to practice chiropractic in Florida. He is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association. In legal cases, he has been deposed on multiple occasions and an expert witness in a jury trial.

Dr. Huffman is an Osteopathic Physician with over 35 years of experience treating injured athletes and auto injuries, such as whiplash and back pain. He has treated thousands of car accident patients in comprehensive injury centers over the past three decades, working side by side with chiropractic physicians, physical therapists, pain management physicians, orthopedic physicians, and neurosurgeons.
Dr. Huffman joined the medical team of Pensacola Spinal Centers and Dr. Lyle Burkhardt to bring his medical expertise in injury care to Pensacola’s most trusted medical injury center.
In addition to his traditional medical injury services, Dr. Huffman provides telemedicine injury services, giving our injured patients 24/7 access to a medical injury physician. With a simple text-link connection on a cell phone, injured patients can contact Dr. Huffman immediately after a car accident to report their injuries, access medication if necessary, and schedule next-day in-house evaluation by our injury team.

Aloha~ I am the Front Desk Coordinator at Pensacola Spinal Centers. I am originally from Maui, Hawaii, and moved here to Pensacola in 2022 with my husband of over 20 years, Craig. We have 2 adult sons, Joshua and Luke, as well as an amazing granddaughter, Mia. Before joining the Pensacola Spinal Centers family, I was an educator
for over 30 years.

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I’m married with two children, and I’m even a grandma! I love spending time with my family, camping, and exploring nature. I’m bilingual (English and Spanish). I have been working with chiropractors since 1994! I moved to Pensacola, Florida back in 2010, and I’ve been working at Pensacola Spinal Centers since 2013.

I am originally from East Tennessee but have lived in Florida for 5 years, loving every bit of it! I have a teenage son, Zak, who is in college in Tennessee. I have a cat and three dogs. I enjoy the beach, upbeat music, reading, and watching the sunrise and sunset. I really enjoy being a chiropractic therapist because I get to help people.

I moved here from Alabama 10 years ago. That move allowed me to dive deep into the water culture here, pun intended. I am a boat captain for a local dolphin cruise, and I am scuba certified. Anytime I’m not at work, you can find me in the water or spending time with family and friends. I have worked for PSC for close to 2 years now! I quickly fell in love with being a chiropractic assistant after a patient hugged me because she could finally straighten her hair. It’s rewarding to watch our patients get better, knowing I played a role in their care.
